Reading Comprehension Passage with Questions: Building Resilience

I love to have my students think about the concept of resilience and how they can build resiliency within their own lives. It would also work well when teaching author's purpose and central claim, but you could also use this as a quick assessment/benchmark on students' informational text skills. 

This could also be used as a sub-plan. Everything students need for vocabulary, critical thinking, and test prep are all included! 

I've included an article all about resilience and how it can be cultivated. Students will see 10 multiple choice questions and one constructed-response question. I've also added a vocabulary practice and 5 pre-reading questions to get your students thinking about the text as well as their own lives.
