Poetry Choice Board | ELA High School

Distance learning in high school can be complicated! I've put together a digital learning choice board to practice poetry analysis skills. Students will be presented with a choice board that has links to 9 different poems and poetry activities to help them practice poetry analysis. You can simply share this digital resource then assign different skills within the resource. The product is downloaded as a PDF where you will receive a link to a Google Slides presentation.

This product comes with 9 unique activities for poems that have been linked within the activity.

The assignments cover topics such as:

- Author's Purpose

- Structure

- Connotative Meanings

- Symbolism

- Tone

- Creative Thinking

- Inferencing

- Title Analysis

As most poetry exercises are subjective, please keep in mind that answers WILL VARY. However, I’ve included an answer key guide with suggestions and possible answers.
