This particular unit focuses on memories and how they affect our past, present, and future! The skill focus is finding, supporting, analyzing, and discussing theme. Students are provided with a presentation, a video, and several practice activities to understand this very valuable "Building Block" skill for literary analysis. Students will also have an informational text article to work through about how scientists have discovered a concept known as "false memories", a poem about a the effect memories have on our lives, multiple choice-writing activities, a vocabulary list, a creative project, and more!
