Article of the Week | Digital Learning Ready

Using an article of the week with secondary students can benefit them in SO many ways. I use these templates with my students to get them reading current events which helps them understand allusions/literary analysis, too! These are also great for breaking down standards, practicing writing, seeing skills come alive, and more! 

This product contains enough graphic organizers for 9 weeks' worth of implementing the article of the week. The graphic organizers cover the following informational text skills:
- Inferencing/citing textual evidence

- Central idea/objective summary

- Sequencing ideas and analyzing the sequence

- Word choice/connotations

- Author's claim

- Author's point of view/rhetoric
